Martha Jane Cannary, alias Calamity Jane, dût abandonner sa fille à sa naissance et perdit son mari qui fut assassiné à Deadwood en 1876. Rattraper l'irrémédiable absence, le manque farouche de ses deux êtres aimés. Des grandes prairies aux tripots infects, il y a la fuite dans cette vie là. Colt aux deux mains gauches, "Cannary" pose un peu de cette vie sauvage dans sa musique, parfois tendre, parfois féroce.
